Changing Lives,
One Dog at a Time

Meet Indea

I fell in love with training dogs through my first dog, the rough collie Laila. I received her from Rolling Meadows Academy, a company that trains rescues, and she is my constant partner as a service dog. She attends college at my side, travels across the US and internationally, and is my beloved companion. I first learned to train by taking her to a high level of obedience and service dog task training.

I went on to be mentored by Barbara Simpson, the owner and head trainer at Rolling Meadows for 30 years. I have learned to handle dogs of many different breeds and backgrounds, from puppies to adult rescues.

I founded Hudson Creek Canines to help owners enjoy their dogs to their full potential. I strive to teach with empathy and understanding of both people and dogs, allowing my clients to experience the joys of a well-trained dog.

My Approach

I am a rewards-based balanced trainer.
Don’t know what that means? No worries! I believe positive reinforcement is our most powerful tool for teaching and communicating desired behaviors in our dogs. I also believe that dogs thrive with direction and clarity. I teach my clients how to strengthen their relationship with their dog using these methods.

Announcement (as of 5/1/26)

I am currently completing my bachelor’s degree at Smith College, located in Northampton, MA. As a result, I am exclusively offering virtual training, excluding major behavioral issues, such as human/dog aggression, resource guarding, severe anxiety, etc., that require a trainer's hands-on assistance. In-person private sessions are available to those within a reasonable distance of Northampton. Please visit my Services page for more information about my services and schedule a FREE consultation. Thank you for your patience as I complete my education!
